Wes Bentley is an American actor best known for his role as Ricky Fitts, the soulful, artistic next-door neighbor in the Academy Award-winning film American Beauty (1999). He also starred as game maker Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games (2012) and as photographer Thomas in Lovelace (2013).

In 2014, he made his first appearance in the FX anthology series American Horror Story as Edward Mordrake in Freak Show. He received a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for his role as Detective John Lowe in Hotel in 2015.
