On the 5th of March, 1963, Joel took birth to Dolore “Doodie” Pilgrim and John Osteen. Osteen has five other siblings. Joel’s hometown and birthplace are Houston, Texas. The church that Joel is most known for right now was founded by his father, John Osteen. John is a former Baptist pastor and found his church in the back of a store. Joel then graduated from a public high school known as Humble high school in 1981 in Humble, Texas.
After this, Osteen pursued a degree in radio and television communications from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joel did not graduate there.
